A Better Day Ahead but Cool Weather Prevails

Dry conditions with some sunshine will prevail for the first half of Sunday across the Quad Cities and Northern Illinois.  It will not be as breezy today as that low pressure system continues to push off to our Northeast.  The winds just west of the Quad Cities are rather weak and we will see our winds continue to subside as we go through Sunday afternoon.  There a few clouds across the region right now, but when you look towards central and western Iowa there are thicker clouds.  Those clouds will try to work in to our region late Sunday afternoon into the evening.  These clouds will also bring a slight chance for some light rain showers later today.  So enjoy the break from the rain because there are several chances for rain throughout the week with cool temperatures.
